The level of awards that can be applied in cases for scarring injury compensation can be high when the disfigurement is serious and noticeable.

Serious scarring where more than 40% of the body is covered can achieve pay-outs of up to around £90,000.00. This can often be the case for serious facial scarring that is permanent and clearly noticeable.
